Mini Tsunami @ Dungun Beach

This picture was taken Jan 1st 2009 @ Pantai Telok Lipat Dungun near to my home (1km) late evening, 7pm. High water tides coupled with windy condition, the waves constantly hitting the bank and breaking the barrier and the road. Last 2 days at 9pm, without carrying my EOS 450D along or even my PowerShot G9 as usual since just coming back from shopping for groceries, it was getting worse. The road was no longer accessible to traffic. The salty water has filled up the nearby playground and all the stalled were hit by the 4m waves. There were few cars passing by was hit by the waves as well., it was quite dark then...confirmed need to send thoses cars to the workshop!

It seems no more regular spot for dating with my wife for the time being .
