DLE : Digital Lifestyle Expo 2010 @ KLCC

Kuala Lumpur, Dec 10, 2010.   3rd PCFair 2010 was no more for 2010 as usual year end grand event organized by PIKOM. Instead, it has been replaced with DLE - Digital Lifestyle Expo : Consumer Electronics & Mobile by the same organiser. It seems less crowd as it was used to be for PCFair by comparison. Only a single floor has been allocated for the Expo. Limited exhibitors from well known players consist of only several segments namely, Audio Visual, Digital Camera, Games and Gadgets with some ICT hardware related stuffs. I thought earlier PCFair & DLE were both held concurrently at the same venue but to my dissapointment it was wholly wrong, my bad.

In short, it was big let down for me who used to be a regular visitor for year end event in ICT. But anyhow, I managed to renew subscribtion of my ICT favourite magazine, HWM but unfortunately, no free gift because I arrived rather late, 1.30pm to be exact driving all along from Kuala Terengganu with my sister. No parking available in vicinity of KLCC. After an hour later I managed to get one near to KLCC mosque. We spent about 4 hours at DLE alone and bought some stuffs, a 16GB Sandisk SDHC Extreme Card for my DSLR, 16GB Micro Cruzer USB Drive ( I have a dozen already I guess but I still bought one anyway...just crazy) and some other gadgets.

So, next time I have to confirm the event weither it will be PCFair again for year end or else I need to reschedule the whole planning. Next heading to PWTC for Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow.
