Salam semua,
Terima kasih.

Kuala Lumpur - Dec 10, 2010. For me the main attractions for the show would be Proton cars. A hybrid Exora, Saga EV and other prototype or show-off design models such as Tuah, Jebat, Lekir and so forth.
I spent a exactly an hour with Proton engineers from PowerTrain Dept (Mechanical PowerTrain) who are very humble and very informative in replying my technical questions, giving the Proton future direction in the hand of Datok Sri Syed Zainal. I've digged further about new Turbo CPS engine & CVT transmission technology about to be deployed in new Exora Facelift planned for next mid year (2nd quarter). The new Exora facelift will be for auto transmission only with 7 gear speed ratios! But subjected to Proton Management if they decided to tune for 6 speeds only.

I think is a good choice to buy Exora with this technology if you are concern about performance and fuel efficient for family usage within the average consumer pay like me who is in middle class income earner. I would spent my other income for more important investment like solid gold rather than spending on depreciate asset like vehicle (except classic / antique one). Furthermore, the maintenance is not much difference than normal Exora except a bit of price hike due to more expensive CVT transmission technology for the total unit cost of Exora Facelift.

Kuala Lumpur - Dec 10, 2010. After spent about 4 hours at KLCC for DLE 2010, we headed to PWTC for Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow. The last event was held in 2006 if I'm not mistaken. But this time the scale was bigger and grandier than last time with Proton & Naza conquered the most area and models to be shown (yes...both their respective marques and female models of course).
We spent about 4 hours also until the expo was closed just right in time. Most of the exhibitors were local manufacturers, assemblers and distributors such as Proton, Perodua, Naza, DRB-Hicom, Edaran Tan Chong Motors, Inokom and Chery Alado.
The crowds were good and I bet during weekend will be far better crowds. At 8pm, there were still many visitors flocking in the show. The ticket for per entry was RM15 for adult and RM30 for 2 adults and 3 childrens for family. Reasonable price I might say, but during weeekend it will be up to RM20 per entry.

One of the main attraction would be Chevrolet Camaro (Transformer's "Bumblebee"). The unit displayed (the car) was specially shipped directly from USA for the show. The robot was exact replica in size.
End of Part 1.
